Hannibal Rising (2007)

 

 

This movie was not well received by critics with a 15% from Rotten Tomatoes. I loved it anyways. There are many points along the story that make you wonder if you would have turned out any better then Hannibal the Cannibal.

Wind River (2017)

 

 

Thriller /mystery with delicious Jeremy Renner that takes place in Alaska. I knew from the moment I watched the preview on Netflix that I was going to like this movie. Although it is not true “horror” genre movie, it shows the actual horrors of humanity and is chilling. 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Misery (1990)

 

 

What can make you colder than being stuck in a crashed car during a snowstorm? The answer- Stephen King. Watch this, it is a psychological thriller with a sadistic nurse that tortured her favorite author.
89% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

30 Days of Night (2007)

 

 

Another Alaska based winter horror movie the townspeople are trying to make it through the darkness of winter and their vampire neighbors. A solid icecycle of a movie. 51% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Thing (1982)

 

 

Antarctica now with a group of scientists trying to survive a beast that can assume the shape of its victims. 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Shining(1980)

 

 

Oh Steven King, how can you be so cold? Winter, desolate hotel, madness, bloody twins, frozen maze. What else can I say? Redrum? 86% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Pontypool (2008)

 

 

Zombie apocalypse from the seat of a radio studio. This movie is a bittersweet find among the genre. It will hang with you long after you are finished. 84% on Rotten Tomatoes.
