Most B-Rated Horror films that I have seen, are bland acting, bland plot, and an even blander cast. I have to say that Hell’s Highway was surprisingly none of the above. Although the acting was campy and the plot was predictable, this movie gets your attention from the beginning all the way through. It starts out with four college friends going on a road trip. They are driving on a desolate desert highway when no surprise there is a hitch hiker. And since this is a horror movie, we all know what is going to happen, the hitch hiker is going to try and kill them all.
What this movie has going for it is that it knows what it is, a horror film with such bad production it is hilarious. I would definitely recommend this movie to any B-Movie horror fan to put on their watch list. If you are looking for a top production movie that will scare you to hell, Hell’s Highway is not for you.
